I'm extremely happy to announce that our musical Triangle will have its world premiere in July 2015 at TheatreWorks Palo Alto. We first were introduced to TheatreWorks as part of their New Works Festival, where we originally workshopped a completely new version of the show, and we are truly honored to be back to premier Triangle at this theatre which is nationally recognized for its commitments to new works. Come check it out in July!
I'm very excited to have served as the music consultant for the Shinnyo Lantern Floating Festival for Peace at Lincoln Center. This amazing event included all ages of performers from around New York City, and I was honored to be asked to compose the music for the Closing Ceremonies which underscored the launching of thousands of hand-decorated lanterns from New Yorkers and visitors from around the world.
I was extremely honored to be part of this amazing event which opened in Shenzhen in July of 2014. We rehearsed in London with an incredible cast of performers and dancers from around the world and created an experience which was unlike anything I've ever worked on. I'm extremely happy to be working once again with Mark Bennett, Jack O'Brien, and Ethan Hawke at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater, where we last collaborated on The Coast of Utopia. We created an incredible epic score to match this beautiful production with sets by Scott Pask and costumes by Catherine Zuber. Macbeth plays at Lincoln Center from October 24, 2013-January 12, 2014. I'm so happy to be making my Broadway debut (as a composer) with Lucky Guy, starring Tom Hanks, which opened on April 1, 2013 (and is now extended through July)!
I had a lot of fun working on this video, with a song written by Alan Menken and Craig Carnelia. I arranged, produced, and recorded the audio, with cameos from Stephen Schwartz, Georgia Stitt, Chris Miller, Benj Pasek, Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk. Jeremy Levine directed the video.
I was extremely honored to receive the Best Composer Award from the faculty and visiting artists at the NYU/ASCAP Foundation TV & Film Scoring Workshop this past spring. The panel, including Sean Callery (24, Bones, Homeland) NYU film composer-in-residence Ira Newborn (Naked Gun, Blues Brothers) and Mark Snow (X-Files, Blue Bloods), called my cue "inventive, professional and striking by virtue of a remarkably colorful orchestration."
Dilia is the second Trickybox artist to make it to Hollywood on American Idol. Our very own Karen Rodriguez was a top 12 finalist in season 10. We discovered Karen at LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, and she sang on our songs which were included in the Todd Solondz film Palindromes.
Curtis Moore is very happy to have been asked back to be part of the third and final year of the Bridge Project, which opened to rave reviews at London's Old Vic Theater in July.
This production reunites Sam Mendes and Kevin Spacey for the first time since American Beauty, and marks Curtis' fifth Bridge production with Mendes and composer Mark Bennett, having previous collaborated on The Winter's Tale, The Cherry Orchard, As You Like It, and The Tempest.
Richard III played at BAM in January 2012, after a world tour in the fall of 2011.

Timon of Athens opens at the Public Theater with an electric guitar score composed by Trickybox writer Curtis Moore. With an cast led by Richard Thomas and directed by Barry Edelstein, this production marks the debut of the Public Theater's Public LAB SHAKESPEARE program.

Curtis Moore is proud to be part of the team working together on Clear Blue Tuesday, a new movie which explores the lives of eleven New Yorkers post 9/11. The movie is directed by Elizabeth Lucas, with script and songs written in collaboration with the cast. Trickybox artist Curtis Moore composed the score and produced the track “The Ritual.” Clear Blue Tuesday premieres at the Quad Cinema in New York in September 2010.
Trickybox collaborators Thomas Mizer and Curtis Moore are extremely honored to have been selected to receive a 2009 Jonathan Larson Grant in recognition of their theatrical work, including the new musicals Triangle and The Legend of Stagecoach Mary. Administered by the American Theatre Wing, the Larson Grant is dedicated to honoring emerging talent and infusing the music theatre community with new work. The songwriting team’s music was featured at the Grant Presentation Event, March 17, 2009 in New York City.
Variety announces that three songs from the Todd Solondz film, Palindromes, have made the final elegibility list of 42 songs for consideration for the original song Oscar. Trickybox songwriters Curtis Moore and Matthew Brookshire, along with Eytan Mirsky wrote, produced, and performed the songs.
