Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is perhaps best known for her role as the independent Dr. Callie Torres on ABC's popular medical drama Grey's Anatomy, but she's also a multifaceted star of theater, screen, and the concert stage. She made her Broadway debut as Wahzinak in Paul Simon's The Capeman, starred in The Gershwins' Fascinating Rhythm, for which she received an Outer Critics Circle nomination for Best Actress, and was in Broadway's A Class Act as Felicia. In 2005 she won both The Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical and The Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding featured Actress in a Musical for The Lady of the Lake in Monty Python's Spamalot. For Trickybox, however, she will always be known and revered as the originator and greatest practitioner of the "Bubbly Black Girl" riff.
