Mizer and Moore’s one-act musical had its New York Premiere Production as part of Ensemble Studio Theater’s trend-setting Marathon 2006. Opening June 13, the cast included Sebastian LaCause (Broadway’s Rocky Horror) and Jennie Eisenhower (Barrymore Award Winner).
Reviews:
"a touching mini-musical (it's easy to see Antonio Banderas in the lead, should it ever be expanded to movie length)"
New York Times, June 22, 2006
"The belle of this theatrical ball might just be Thomas Mizer and Curtis Moore’s The Bus to Buenos Aires … it’s an evocative piece in which whimsy and woe are deftly balanced by its talented creators. It also has a lovely flamenco-tinged score that would beg a cast recording if it were a few songs longer."
Broadway World, June 23, 2006
