I brought together my three favorite collaborators to write this hilarious over-the-top romp of a musical skewering celebrity and made-for-TV-movies.

For the Love of Tiffany draws its inspiration from the trash, tragedy and triumph found in the made-for-TV movies of women's television. The protagonist, Stephanie, is obsessed with the trials and tribulations of the heroines from Wifetime movies, at the expense of having any real adventures of her own. That all changes the day she meets both the man of her dreams and her favorite Wifetime Movie star, the titular Tiffany Jenkins.

Tiffany had a successful, sold-out run at the 2003 New York International Fringe Festival. The production starred Tony nominee Nancy Opel (Urinetown), and was directed by Matthew Brookshire, with music direction by Tom Kitt.
