What a joy to be back at The Old Globe with Barry Edelstein and the whole Globe family, especially after the world premiere of our musical Regency Girls there last season. This is my fourth Shakespeare with Barry, and we’re throwing this one on its head: acid-colored, modern-but-not-modern, lots of anachronistic music choices, and of course, an entire karaoke sequence. Just like how Shakespeare always dreamed it would be.
I have ALWAYS wanted to work with Eden Espinosa and Tally Sessions both fantastic singers and (and hilarious as Beatrice and Benedick.)
